Desserts: Ice jelly with giant peach halves

After I found Ligo's peach halves at only $2.50 at Ang Mo Supermarket, I am no longer considering the purchase of any other brands of peaches. Each can comes with 8 halves. Large, succulent and sweet.

I stock up on canned peaches because they make a lovely afternoon dessert, especially with some lime and ice-jelly.

For a large bowl of ice-jelly with peach:

1 lime (or 2 - if you like it very sour!)

Ice jelly (3 to 4 scoops)

3 peach halves and some syrup

Ice cubes

 

Method:

(1) Scoop some ice jelly into a large bowl.

(2) Place 3 peach halves and some syrup over the ice-jelly.

(3) Squeeze a lime (use a strainer spoon so that seeds don't fall into the dessert).

(4) Serve with ice cubes. Refreshing!
